Job summary

Patriot Growth Insurance Services is seeking a Benefits Consultant to advise employers on employee benefits, drive new business, and manage full client lifecycles. You will work with carriers and internal teams to deliver strategic guidance, renewals, and enrollment sessions, strengthening partnerships and service quality.

The role emphasizes relationship management, consultative selling, and cross-functional collaboration to help clients optimize benefits while supporting agency growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration, HR, Marketing, or related field.
• 2+ years in sales, consulting, employee benefits, or related field.
• Active Virginia Life & Health Insurance License.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, plan design, and compliance.
• Proven ability to generate new opportunities and cultivate client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with CRM, Microsoft Office, and benefits platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and consultative sales.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline to achieve growth and revenue objectives.
• Manage client relationships through onboarding, renewals, and ongoing service needs.
• Lead client-facing meetings such as renewal presentations and enrollment sessions.
• Provide guidance on benefits programs, cost-management strategies, and market trends.
• Identify cross-selling and expanded service opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to ensure a seamless client experience.
