Job summary

Asana is seeking a Benefits Manager to design and scale foundational benefits programs across health, wellness, and retirement for our North America organization. Based in San Francisco with a hybrid in-office schedule, you will own key offerings and drive equity and well-being across the region.

You’ll partner with stakeholders across People Ops, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to ensure compliant, data-driven programs and a smooth employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of benefits program management experience.
• Experience owning health & welfare and retirement programs.
• Expertise as a benefits administration system administrator.
• Strong NAMER benefits compliance knowledge (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA).

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, design, and execution of benefits programs in the U.S. and Canada.
• Shape benefits experience, communications, and delivery.
• Manage vendor and broker relationships across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement programs.
• Serve as benefits systems administrator for enrollment, data integrity, governance, and reporting.
• Collaborate with People Ops, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to integrate benefits across the employee lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA/ACA/HIPAA/FMLA and state laws.
• Design measurable frameworks for utilization, satisfaction, and cost management.
• Apply AI-first approach to streamline benefits administration and communications.
