Job summary

Asana, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to own global workplace design and project execution from its San Francisco base. You’ll lead office builds, set design standards, and collaborate with teams across time zones to support the company’s expansion.

You will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and space planning, while leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making. This hybrid role centers on office-based collaboration with flexible remote options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in space planning, interior design, and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp or OfficeSpace a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of all new office builds, construction, and reconfigurations globally.
• Develop, maintain, and implement workplace design and graphic standards across all locations.
• Collaborate with local Workplace leads to ensure design alignment and seamless office expansion.
• Oversee design-related purchasing, including global furniture vendor management and procurement.
• Source local furniture and environmental branding vendors globally and maintain vendor directories.
• Manage project budgets, billing, CAPEX and OPEX cost roll-ups, and annual financial tracking.
• Oversee global occupancy and space planning; act as space planning software administrator; deliver monthly analytics and occupancy projections.
• Drive desk moves and department relocations while training site leads and space captains.
