Job summary

Cooley LLP in San Francisco seeks a Business Development Driver Manager to join the Marketing and Client Development team. You will lead the BD Drivers Team, strengthening campaign execution, account planning, opportunity development, meeting prep and pipeline discipline to turn priorities into action.

Responsibilities include overseeing briefing materials, coordinating with Marketing and BD leaders, ensuring smooth handoffs, tracking activity and opportunities, and driving scalable BD processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable experience in marketing or business development.
• Demonstrated business development skills (e.g. pipeline management, campaign execution).
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise CRM ecosystems (e.g. Salesforce).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and iManage.

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence & Discipline: implement structured processes for meeting prep, opportunity development, and pipeline management.
• Engagement Strategy & Briefing: develop high-impact briefing materials and meeting prep strategies for partners and BD leaders.
• Integrated Campaign Activation: collaborate with Marketing to manage lead flow and convert engagement into opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: align Marketing, BD leaders, and Partners with clear handoffs and coordination.
• Execution & Action Planning: translate discussions and meetings into actionable plans and follow-up.
• Pipeline Integrity & Reporting: track activity, opportunities, and account actions for leadership reviews.
• Process Optimization: refine BD support and create scalable systems for efficiency.
