Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Sr BD & Marketing Coordinator - Sectors to partner with firm lawyers and the Marketing & BD Department to advance marketing and business development for Life Sciences and Healthcare. The role requires a self-starter with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across marketing, BD, admin, and executive teams to achieve business objectives.

The position is hybrid with offices nationwide including Austin, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• 3 years of direct experience in marketing and business development at a large law firm or professional services.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams; familiarity with Co-Pilot and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports client targeting and cross-selling initiatives.
• Supports sector events, industry sponsorships, and webinars.
• Collaborates on content generation for RFPs and pitches.
• Manages marketing collateral, pitch materials, and website content.
• Tracks and maintains experience and credentials across firm systems.
• Contributes to marketing campaigns and targeted client outreach.
• Gathers data to measure ROI.
• Coordinates internal and external communications (alerts, newsletters, ads).
• Masters firm CRM and experience databases to improve processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
