Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager / SME with deep EMS and Sensor Management expertise to drive growth across defense and national security markets.

The ideal candidate will translate spectrum operations and sensor tasking into customer value, lead full BD lifecycle, and guide multi-year capture efforts while engaging DoD and IC stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or 6 years relevant experience with Masters in related field.
• Experience with successful execution of all phases of a large, multi-year capture efforts including strategic planning, shaping, competitive analysis, teaming, proposal development, and transition to execution.
• Maintain the opportunity record in Salesforce and document capture activities for transparency.
• Broad market awareness including budgets, customer priorities, and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes the full business development lifecycle from initial exploration through qualification and capture.
• Oversees the pipeline, sets BD priorities, and aligns resources to strategic opportunities.
• Provides leadership for pursuits and capture activities to achieve award and pipeline growth targets.
• Partners with BD and Program leadership to refine strategy and build a pipeline that expands market share and revenue.
• Monitors market and competitor activity to position capabilities effectively.
• Engages customers, teammates, and industry partners to gather requirements, acquisition strategies, and contract vehicles.
• Participates in pipeline reviews, capture planning, solution development, and proposal development.
