Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth across the Exploration & Logistics portfolio, identifying and shaping new opportunities while developing long-term customer relationships aligned with business objectives.

The role partners with division leadership, operations teams, and executives to expand KBR’s presence in defense, federal civilian, logistics, engineering, and space exploration markets, overseeing pipeline development and win strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years in government, industry, operations, program management, business development and capture.
• 10+ years leading business development, capture or strategic planning for U.S. Government customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic BD and capture plans aligned with E&L growth.
• Identify, qualify, and shape new opportunities across defense, federal civilian, logistics, engineering, and exploration markets.
• Lead capture across the full BD lifecycle: opportunity ID, qualification, positioning, teaming, solution development, proposal strategy, award.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Develop engagement strategies to strengthen KBR’s market presence.
• Collaborate with operational leadership to align growth initiatives with capabilities.
