Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives supporting strategic objectives, government programs, and technology development. The ideal candidate will manage projects through full lifecycle, coordinating schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.

Preference will be given to candidates with NSIC/DoW experience and defense technology exposure. Travel up to 10–20% is expected. The role demands strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, operations, finance, contracts, and leadership.
• Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Facilitate status meetings and prepare executive reporting.
• Manage customer and stakeholder communications throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and policies.
• Support proposal development, startup activities, and transition planning.
• Identify process improvements and implement PM best practices.
• Monitor financial performance including budgets, burn rates, forecasts, and earned value where applicable.
• Drive issue resolution and escalation to ensure project success.
