Flagship Pioneering, Inc. is seeking a senior executive to own and drive the business development strategy for a portion of its ecosystem.

You will negotiate, structure, and close strategic partnerships with pharma, leveraging cross-functional teams to execute from concept to final agreement. The role requires deep BD and corporate strategy experience, excellent communication, and a track record of leading senior-level initiatives across biotech platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in business development or corporate strategy leadership.
• Proven track record in design and execution of BD strategy with measurable impact on deals.
• Advanced degree (PhD/MD); MBA a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead BD strategy development for Flagship Pioneering portfolio companies to ensure deal flow.
• Cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Strategy, IP, legal, and finance to structure deals.
• Communicate value proposition of platform technologies to internal and external stakeholders.
• Define data generation and partnership scopes, including exclusivity constructs.
• Drive outreach to potential pharma partners and oversee diligence and term-sheet to agreement processes.
• Partner with CEO and leadership to align BD strategy with long-range planning.
