Qualifications

• 8+ years in bank partnerships, fintech partnerships, treasury or deposit programs, or banking.
• Managed partner banks, sweep networks, payment providers, or infrastructure partners.
• Negotiated complex commercial agreements and modeled the economics.
• Talks APIs, payment rails, and reconciliation with engineers; explains limits to Product.
• Runs multiple high-stakes relationships with minimal playbooks and decisive memos.
• Seeks AI-driven improvements to automate work and increase leverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own our partnership strategy and collaborate with product on the roadmap.
• Define partner selection, from market mapping to commercial negotiations.
• Lead search for new partners as Nova expands offerings and infrastructure.
• Maintain resilience by managing deposits and redundancy with critical partners.
• Serve as senior point of contact from partner teams to executives.
• Oversee third-party risk with Risk, Compliance, and AML; manage audits and remediation.
