Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to shape and deliver market strategies for enterprise adoption of AWS within travel, FMCG, healthcare and other industries.

You will own the technical relationship with large customers, lead one-to-many training sessions, and collaborate with service engineering and support teams to design scalable cloud solutions that meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 7 years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience.
• 5 years of database experience (SQL/NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
• 7 years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
• 5 years of software development with object oriented language experience.
• 3 years of cloud-based solution experience (AWS or equivalent).
• 7 years of project management experience with customers.
• 5 years of cloud architecture experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of professional/military experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the AWS Business development team to formulate a strategy for adoption within focus industry verticals.
• Guide customers to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services following the Well-Architected Framework.
• Educate enterprise customers on AWS value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions for cloud deployment.
• Provide training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
