Responsibilities

• Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
• Prepares and issues purchase orders. Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability.
• Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Develops and installs clerical and office procedures and practices; studies workflow and sequence of operations; seeks cost reductions.
• Oversees supplier performance reporting to quality, delivery, and cost criteria; maintains approved supplier listings.
