Qualifications

Completed studies in business economics with a focus on logistics or comparable education / other professional qualifications.
Automotive sector experience and logistics background preferred.
Cost and responsibility awareness with systematic, structured working processes.
Ability to work in a team.
Basic ERP software skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Excellent time management.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Plan and implement logistics concepts and material flows.
Prepare logistics concepts for new projects and for changes in current projects.
Attend project meetings and support in Logistics related topics.
Conception, development and sourcing of loading carriers and packaging suppliers.
Analysis and evaluation of customer-specific receivables.
Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams to achieve strategic corporate goals.
Planning and conceptual design of internal logistics and of material flows within production halls.
Independently responsible for the preparation and adherence to the budget in the relevant area of responsibility.
Responsible for maintaining and updating VP Packaging Instructions and PD Packaging Instructions.
Responsible for supplier communication and management.
Compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations as well as all relevant official and legal regulations.
Understanding and tracking tariff policies.
Responsible for packaging inventory.
Other duties as assigned.
