Job summary

Rausch and Pausch LP (RAPA) in Auburn, AL seeks a Senior Process Development Engineer with expertise in manufacturing processes and automation controls. The role involves leading development of new production lines, coordinating with project teams, and working with German counterparts to standardize processes.

The position emphasizes process design, installation, cost estimation, and ensuring rapid RFQ responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 6–8 years of experience in industrial, process and automation engineering.
• Some knowledge of electrical, controls, and programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical prowess in manufacturing processes and maintain/ troubleshoot equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams to develop new processes and production lines and handover to series production.
• Collaborate with European colleagues to standardize processes and share knowledge.
• Design, create prints, 3D models, quote, install, and release new stations and fixtures for new products.
