Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement logistics concepts and material flows.
• Prepare logistics concepts for new projects and for changes in current projects.
• Attend project meetings and support in Logistics related topics.
• Conception, development and sourcing of loading carriers and packaging suppliers.
• Analysis and evaluation of customer-specific receivables.
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams to achieve strategic corporate goals.
• Planning and conceptual design of internal logistics and of material flows within production halls.
• Independently responsible for the preparation and adherence to the budget in the relevant area of responsibility.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating VP Packaging Instructions and PD Packaging Instructions.
• Responsible for supplier communication and management.
• Compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations as well as all relevant official and legal regulations.
• Understanding and tracking tariff policies.
• Responsible for packaging inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Skills, Education and Experience

• Successfully completed studies in business economies with a focus on logistics or comparable education / other professional qualifications (business or supply chain)
• Ideally multiple years of experience in the automotive sector as well as in logistics
• Cost and responsibility awareness as well as a systematic and structured working processes
• Ability to work in a team
• Basic Skills in ERP-Software
• Well above normal verbal and written communication skills.
• Articulate, professional appearance and use of time management.
• Ability to hold a passport and travel within Germany without accompaniment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
