Job summary

RESRG Automotive in Troy, MI is seeking a Program Manager to lead the development and launch of automotive exterior plastics projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams from RFQ through Gate 6, manage budgets, cash flow, and risk, and ensure alignment with customer expectations and company strategy.

In this role, you will build strong customer relationships, drive profitability, monitor program performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives with internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years in automotive industry.
• 3–5 years experience in a Program Management role.
• Negotiation skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to become a preferred partner.
• Own program financials from RFQ through Gate 6 and drive profitability.
• Manage program cashflow and keep team aligned to schedule and targets.
• Initiate continuous improvement opportunities with customers to drive efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams from initiation to completion with clear stakeholder communication.
