Job summary

EasyCare Recruiting seeks a Controller for a Kentucky dealership to oversee all accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support management decisions.

You will prepare financial statements, analyze trends, manage cash flow, close books monthly, and mentor accounting staff while partnering with general management to drive revenue and control costs. This role collaborates with sales, service and customers to uphold corporate policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Three years of dealership experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of dealership financial statements
• Ability to explain technical financial information in an understandable manner
• Performance Bonus

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and submit to management on schedule
• Interpret and analyze financial statements
• Keep the General Manager informed on trends and cash needs
• Develop and maintain an effective cash management system
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure transactions follow policies
• Close the books accurately each month
• Prepare and submit required statements and reports
• Manage and safeguard store assets and internal controls
• Assist managers in reading financial reports and creating action plans
• Respond to information requests promptly
• Help improve revenue or reduce expenses to meet budget
• Work with staff to attain corporate initiatives
