Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. in Canton, MI is seeking an Account Manager to lead a key automotive OEM account and oversee the commercial relationship.

You will coordinate resources and drive profitability across the ECI portfolio while engaging across purchasing, engineering and program management. This role requires building senior-level relationships, managing quotations and negotiations, and translating customer needs into qualified opportunities through close collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-7 years’ experience in Account Management, Program management or technical relationship management.
• Strong ability to build multi-level stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a multi-level relationship network across purchasing, engineering, program management, finance and executive stakeholders.
• Develop and execute a customer engagement plan, including regular account reviews, open-issue reviews, technology discussions and executive touchpoints.
• Lead pricing strategy, quotation presentation, negotiation, contract review and purchase-order closure.
• Promote Yazaki’s ECI portfolio and connect customer needs with relevant product-line capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional quote preparation and ensure commercial assumptions, costing, tooling, packaging and timing are complete.
