Uhy Llp is seeking an Audit Principal to lead the audit practice, directing strategy and ensuring top-tier client service. You will mentor teams, manage audit plans, and provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters across engagements.

The role requires 10+ years of audit experience, CPA licensure, and a track record of leadership within a CPA firm. Travel and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; 8+ years in audit within a CPA firm.
• CPA license required; IT audit certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the audit practice and set strategic goals.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Develop comprehensive audit strategies and plans aligned with risks and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a technical expert in auditing standards and industry trends.
• Mentor and develop audit managers, seniors, and staff.
• Ensure high-quality engagement documentation and outputs.
• Identify opportunities for firm growth and client service expansion.
• Assess and manage audit risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to thought leadership and industry influence.
