Indian River State College seeks an experienced leader to serve as Associate Vice President, Direct Support Organization Operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Active Florida CPA license is required.
• GAAP knowledge and nonprofit financial reporting experience.
• Experience with Form 990 coordination and multi-entity accounting.
• Strong internal controls, risk management, and board‑level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational support for the college's Direct Support Organizations (DSOs).
• Maintain separate books, bank accounts, and audit trails for each DSO.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and financial reporting for DSOs.
• Develop cost-allocation methodologies for shared services.
• Support real estate‑related financial activities and governance processes.
• Prepare board materials and support governance actions.
• Ensure compliance with public records laws and Sunshine Law.
