Job summary

Würth Industry USA is seeking an Assistant Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, close activities, tax filings, reconciliations, and audit support. The role also handles accounts payable approvals and variance analysis, delivering insights to aid executive decision-making.

The position requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 5+ years in accounting management, supervisory experience, and strong professionalism. Proficiency in MS Office is expected; travel <25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• 5+ years related experience in Accounting Management.
• Professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong business acumen with sound judgement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and accurate posting of journal entries and monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure all account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance with KPIs, IFRS 16 lease schedules, capex data, P&L, balance sheet and budget reporting.
• Accurately account for monthly capex and manage entries into the fixed asset system.
• Prepare and file all applicable business tax returns and compliance documents.
• Provide documentation and support to internal and external auditors.
• Perform variance analysis and deliver insights for strategic decisions.
• Cross-train in AR, AP, and sales tax compliance; support process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
