Job summary

Community Housing Network (CHN) in Columbus seeks an Asset Management Support Specialist to provide admin, analytical, and operational support to the Asset Management team. You will assist with purchasing, vendor and contract administration, capital expenditure tracking, project lifecycle analysis, Yardi workflow maintenance, risk rating, and other asset management activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in business/admin or related field.
• 1–3 years in admin, accounting, property, asset management, or purchasing.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management system preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and adaptable to new technology.
• Strong organizational skills with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze and organize information using spreadsheets.
• Working knowledge of accounting and finance concepts.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing: issue and track purchase orders; manage vendor accounts and users.
• Contract & Vendor Admin: maintain records, assist with RFPs and renewals.
• Capital Budgeting & Tracking: track expenditures; prepare reports.
• Yardi Administration: update workflows and document processes.
• Project Lifecycle Analysis: coordinate appraisals and required reports.
• Risk Rating: compile data and ensure accuracy; follow up on gaps.
• Administrative Support: maintain files, schedules, reports, and meetings.
• Support special projects and CHN initiatives.
