Job summary

Community Housing Network (CHN) in Columbus, OH seeks an Asset Management Support Specialist to provide administrative, analytical, and operational support to the Asset Management team. You will assist with purchasing, vendor contracts, capital budgeting, project lifecycle documentation, and Yardi workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business administration, accounting, finance, project management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in administrative, accounting, property management, asset management, or purchasing roles preferred.
• Experience with Yardi or another property management system preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing: Issue and track purchase orders; manage CHN's vendor accounts.
• Contract & Vendor Administration: Maintain vendor/contract records; assist with renewals.
• Capital Budgeting & Tracking: Track capital expenditures; prepare reports for Finance and Asset Management.
• Yardi Administration: Maintain Yardi workflows and document processes.
• Project Lifecycle Analysis: Coordinate appraisals, PCNAs, and lifecycle materials.
• Risk Rating: Compile quarterly data; ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Administrative Support: Maintain files, schedules, reports, and correspondence.
• Other: Support CHN initiatives and participate in the CHN community.
