Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts invites an energetic Area Sales and Event Manager to oversee the Courtyard Poplar Creek complex and Residence Inn Milwaukee Brookfield. You will drive group sales and coordinate events to maximize revenue.

We require at least 2 years in hotel sales/events, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Sales Pro. Marriott experience is a plus. Competitive wages, a robust benefits plan, 401K matching, and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in hotel sales/events
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Experience managing multiple properties is a plus
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Sales Pro

Responsibilities

• Sell group business from all markets/regions.
• Handle no more than 20 to 30 room nights.
• Manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and revenue goals.
• Respond promptly to group/catering opportunities.
• Conduct site inspections and client presentations.
• Create contracts and booking documentation.
• Prospect for new business and attend industry events.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Detail events including food & beverage, setup and A/V needs.
• Ensure staff follows through on client requests.
• Close on business using negotiating skills.
