Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an energetic Area Sales and Event Manager to drive group business across the Poplar Creek complex and Milwaukee Brookfield properties. You will manage client accounts, conduct site visits, present proposals, and coordinate all event details to maximize revenue.

With at least two years in hotel sales and events, you will build relationships, negotiate contracts, and work with multiple departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a similar hotel sales/events role.
• Experience in hotel customer service with strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Word, Delphi, Sales Pro, Excel and Internet; strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Marriott brand experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to group/catering opportunities and manage accounts.
• Conduct site inspections and client presentations; create contracts and booking docs.
• Prospect for new business via sales calls and industry events; maintain client relationships.
• Detail events including F&B, setup, and AV needs; coordinate with hotel departments.
• Negotiate contracts using creative selling to close deals.
