Konik in Minnesota seeks an Architectural Owner’s Representative - Project Manager to oversee capital projects from planning through closeout, coordinating with external architecture and engineering partners. The role emphasizes owner advocacy, quality, schedule, and budget alignment on high-visibility projects.

The position requires a professional architecture degree (licensure preferred) and 10+ years of project leadership experience, with onsite work in the Southwestern Suburbs of MN.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture; licensure preferred.
• 10+ years of architectural project leadership experience.
• Experience managing external architecture and engineering firms for owners.
• Strong knowledge of permitting, building codes, and project delivery processes.
• Experience evaluating design quality, risks, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct external architectural and engineering partners.
• Lead projects through programming, design, permitting, construction, and final closeout activities.
• Facilitate design reviews to ensure alignment with operational requirements, design standards, and business objectives.
• Monitor consultant performance, project milestones, contract deliverables, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate decisions among internal stakeholders, contractors, project teams and permitting agencies.
• Review drawings and design packages for constructability, completeness, functionality, and cost impacts.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, change orders, risks, and overall project performance while providing leadership-level updates.
