Job summary

AEC Resources is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to act as Owner’s Representative in Minneapolis. Lead capital projects from feasibility to closeout, directing external architects and engineers to align design with budget, schedule, and quality standards.

The role emphasizes owner-side leadership, coordinating internal stakeholders with consultants, and delivering projects from planning through completion while managing risks and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Architectural degree and licensure preferred.
• 10–15+ years of project leadership experience.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, engineering coordination, and building codes.
• Ability to manage external architects/engineers and consultants.
• Proven ability to review consultant recommendations and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple capital projects from feasibility through closeout.
• Direct Architects, Engineers & Consultants.
• Establish design objectives and milestones from the owner's perspective.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and quality against owner requirements.
• Coordinate with senior leadership and regulatory authorities.
