You will own RFI and change-order processes and coordinate with vendors and outsourced processors to protect project economics.

This on-site ownership role requires independent work, presenting solutions to leadership, and collaborating daily with Purchasing, Shop, and Engineering to ensure feasibility and timely

Qualifications

• 3–5 years estimating in architectural or ornamental metals.
• Able to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings with accuracy.
• Familiar with RFI workflows, change order pricing, and risk evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, strategic project estimates with accurate costs, VE options, material alternates, risks, and clear recommendations.
• Present estimating approach and data to the Senior Estimator and leadership to support pricing strategy.
• Verify material availability and obtain up-to-date vendor pricing or quotes.
• Coordinate outside services such as laser cutting, machining, or stretch forming when needed.
• Manage RFI process and change orders to reflect scope changes.
• Build trust-based relationships with clients to win bids and align priorities.
