Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Estimator for Architectural Metals in Phoenix. You will review bid opportunities, attend pre-bid meetings, and develop accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment while evaluating project plans and specifications.

The role requires 5+ years in architectural metals estimating, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. Relocation is available and a competitive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating in the Architectural Metals Industry (metal roofing, ACM panels, cladding, exterior metal components).
• Local market knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review bid opportunities and advise on bids to pursue.
• Attend pre-bid site meetings to prepare accurate estimates.
• Analyze project plans, specs, and details.
• Analyze project financials and labor costs.
• Prepare takeoffs/estimates of costs of materials, labor, and equipment.
