Job summary

Anderson’s Tree Care is seeking a Consulting and Sales Arborist in San Jose, CA. You will advise clients on tree maintenance, health, and protection during development, and prepare written proposals for care projects.

Ideal candidates have degree in Urban Forestry, Certified Arborist, TRAQ, and QAL license, with proven consulting experience. You will work with diagnostics, customer service, sales, and operations in a client-facing role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Urban Forestry or equivalent.
• Experience in consulting arboriculture.
• Certified Arborist.
• Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ).
• QAL License from California Department of Pesticide Regulation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Clients.
• Recommend management options (pruning, removal, Plant Health Care) for care of their trees.
• Thorough knowledge of Plant Health Care Practices.
• Create Tree Protection During Development plans.
• Report Writing and Monitoring Reports.
• Write proposals and enter into agreement with clients.
• Follow up on site recommendations.
• Continuing education.
