Job summary

Anderson's Tree Care is seeking a Consulting Arborist in San Jose, CA, to provide expert guidance on tree health, protection during development, and sound Plant Health Care practices. The role involves evaluating tree health, drafting proposals, and delivering projects for clients with a focus on safety and quality.

You will meet with clients, recommend pruning or removal options, and ensure effective follow-up with site recommendations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Urban Forestry or equivalent.
• Experience in consulting arboriculture.
• Certified Arborist.
• Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ).
• QAL License from California Department of Pesticide Regulation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Clients.
• Recommend management options (pruning, removal, Plant Health Care) for care of their trees.
• Thorough knowledge of Plant Health Care Practices.
• Create Tree Protection During Development plans.
• Report Writing and Monitoring Reports.
• Write proposals and enter into agreement with clients.
• Follow up on site recommendations.
• Continuing education.
