Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking an Analytics Manager to join the Card Analytics team in Charlotte, NC or Wilmington, DE. The role focuses on developing risk management strategies and analytics insights to mitigate losses and fuel growth for the credit card portfolio.

The candidate will work on reporting, strategy implementation, validation, and ad-hoc analyses including segmentation, competitive analysis, and modeling. Strong data skills (SQL, SAS, Python) and data quality focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science) with 5+ years of related experience.
• SQL knowledge highly preferred.
• SAS experience preferred.
• Strong Excel/MS Office skills required.
• 5+ years of experience in a complex, data-driven problem-solving environment.
• Lending or consumer finance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report, implement strategy, validate strategy, and perform ad-hoc analyses including customer segmentation, competitive analysis, sensitivity analysis, and modeling.
• Design, document, and execute targeting optimization using multiple data sources under guidance.
• Utilize SQL, SAS, Python and analytical software to develop, test, and implement new strategies; ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Summarize and present results and insights to management; drive analytical problem-solving across end-to-end processes.
