Job summary

The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans are seeking an Analytics-minded professional to design, build, and run automated analytical solutions that influence pricing, demand forecasting, and business decisions across multiple teams and partners.

In this role, you will collaborate with Strategy & Analytics to source data, develop dashboards, and drive data-driven decisions during NFL/NBA cycles, contributing to community initiatives and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven data analytics experience is required.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge of microeconomics concepts and pricing/forecasting analytics.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with SQL and Power BI.
• Proven strong mathematics capabilities.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Highly self-motivated with excellent teamwork.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills is a plus.
• Advanced Power BI, SQL and Python experience is a plus.
• Statistical analysis and modeling experience is a plus.
• Experience within the sports industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards to measure, monitor and analyze demand, supply, elasticities, and other metrics.
• Assist with pricing analytics, revenue forecasting, and competition analysis.
• Work across the Strategy & Analytics department to acquire and integrate data from various businesses.
• Analyze market data from Bloomberg, Moody's Analytics, Census, BLS, Nielsen, YouGov to forecast demand and pricing trends.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations focused on local/regional trends.
• Support analysis of digital content, pricing strategies, and fan behaviors across channels.
• Design and build datasets and statistical models for pricing analytics and revenue projections.
• Build reports to monitor data warehouse performance for front-end users.
• Build reports to monitor data quality in the data warehouse for campaigns.
• Support ETL projects integrating diverse data sources into the warehouse.
• Document and visualize architecture for each database in the warehouse.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
