Job summary

The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans seek a Strategy & Analytics Analyst to design, build, and operate automated analytical solutions that drive data-driven decisions for both organizations and Benson Businesses. You will lead pricing analytics, forecasting, and dashboards with measurable impact across departments and executives.

Based in Metairie, LA, the role requires strong SQL and Power BI skills, with Python and advanced Excel as pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Proven data analytics experience is required.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge of microeconomics concepts and pricing/forecasting analytics.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with SQL and PowerBI.
• Strong mathematics capabilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Teamwork and proactive mindset; project management is a plus.
• Experience with Excel, Python and PowerBI is a plus.
• Sports industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards to measure demand, supply, elasticities, and other metrics.
• Assist with pricing analytics, revenue forecasting, and competition analysis.
• Integrate data from multiple sources across departments for analytics.
• Analyze local and regional market data to forecast demand and pricing trends.
• Develop datasets and statistical models for pricing analytics and revenue projections.
• Monitor data warehouse performance and data quality through dashboards.
• Support ETL projects and data integration efforts.
• Document data architecture visuals for databases in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver actionable insights and business value.
