What We Do

The Strategic Analysis Group (SAG) supports the First American- Direct Title Group of Businesses with analysis to inform business and technology strategy. The group comprises analysis professionals skilled in Business Analysis, Business Architecture, Process Architecture, and Business Systems Analysis. SAG has extensive experience leading and supporting analysis efforts during strategy and implementation phases, enabling business and technology transformations within the Enterprise.

The Manager, Strategic Analysis plays a key role within SAG, providing analysis and leadership. This role manages a high-performing team of Business Analysts (BAs) and/or Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) within the Direct Title Group and acts as the Lead Analyst for key initiatives. The manager collaborates with SAG leadership to develop an Analysis Center of Excellence and implement industry best practices. They serve as a strategic liaison with business and technology stakeholders to understand needs, identify gaps, map current states, and recommend solutions to improve processes and efficiency. The SA Manager is a strong mentor and leader, capable of solving complex problems and delivering creative solutions to support partner and customer success.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams from business, technology, and external partners to identify needs and ensure analysis support for product and process initiatives.
  2. Lead analysis efforts on key projects, managing multiple functions and dependencies while applying top-tier analysis expertise.
  3. Conduct business process evaluations to understand complex requirements, map current states, and develop future states with identified opportunities.
  4. Act as a strategic partner and liaison between business, product, design, research, and engineering teams, including offshore staff, providing analysis subject matter expertise.
  5. Mentor and guide the team in applying best practices in Business, Process, and System analysis throughout the product lifecycle.
  6. Oversee the creation and maintenance of documentation such as user stories, business rules, API analyses, and data validation within an agile framework.
  7. Set and manage team goals and objectives to meet project timelines.
  8. Participate in hiring, conduct performance reviews, and manage HR activities for the team.
  9. Provide reports and presentations to leadership to inform roadmaps, budgets, and strategies.
  10. Lead the creation of an Analysis Center of Excellence for SAG.
  11. Manage risks and prioritize tasks according to business needs.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PBA, Agile certifications, CBA.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Agile, and Product methodologies.
  • Experience leading analysis in digital transformation projects.
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and business acumen skills.
  • Effective communicator with strong influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills.
  • Experience creating analysis documentation like user stories, use cases, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Title insurance & settlement services is a plus.
  • Business Architecture knowledge is a plus but not required.

Pay Range: $132,900-$166,100 annually

This range is an estimate based on various factors including experience, skills, and location.
