What We Do

The Strategic Analysis Group (SAG) supports the First American- Direct Title Group of Businesses with key analysis support to inform business and technology strategy. The group consists of analysis professionals and leaders experienced in Business Analysis, Business Architecture, Process Architecture, and Business Systems Analysis. SAG has extensive experience in leading, informing, and supporting analysis efforts during both strategy and implementation phases, enabling business & technology transformations within the enterprise.

The Manager, Strategic Analysis is a key role within SAG, providing analysis and leadership. This role manages a high-performing team of Business Analysts (BAs) and/or Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) within the Direct Title Group and acts as the Lead Analyst for critical analysis initiatives.

The manager will collaborate with SAG leadership to develop an Analysis Center of Excellence and implement industry best practices. They will serve as a strategic liaison with business and technology stakeholders to understand needs, identify gaps, map current states, and deliver findings and recommendations to drive improvements. The SA Manager is a strong mentor and leader, leading various projects and functions, bringing broad experience for in-depth problem solving and innovative solutions to support partner and customer success.

How You'll Contribute
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and ensure analysis support for initiatives and rollouts.
  • Lead analysis efforts on key projects, managing dependencies and applying expert analysis skills.
  • Conduct business process evaluations, map current states, and identify opportunities for future improvements.
  • Act as a strategic partner and liaison between business, product, design, research, and engineering teams, including offshore staff, providing analysis expertise.
  • Mentor the team in applying best practices throughout the product or software development lifecycle.
  • Oversee documentation creation and maintenance within an agile framework, including API documentation, user stories, business rules, and data validation.
  • Set and manage team goals and objectives to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and HR activities.
  • Provide reports and presentations to leadership to inform roadmaps, budgets, and strategies.
  • Lead the creation of a Center of Excellence for SAG.
  • Manage risks and priorities aligned with business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PBA, Agile, CBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Agile, and Product methodologies.
  • Experience with major digital transformation programs in complex environments is preferred.
  • Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and business acumen skills.
  • Effective communicator with influencing and collaboration skills at management level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation practices.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining analysis documentation such as user stories, use cases, and process maps.
  • Knowledge of Title insurance & settlement services is a plus.
  • Business Architecture knowledge is a plus but not required.

Pay Range: $132,900-$166,100 annually

This range is an estimate and may vary based on factors like experience, skills, and location.
