Job summary

Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc. seeks an Alternative Delivery Manager to lead and manage all phases of alternative/collaborative delivery projects.

You will guide business development, teaming, pursuits and proposals, and active contract/design management, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to exceed client expectations. You will need a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering with 5+ years in project or construction management, travel up to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of project management, construction management experience, or an equivalent combination
• Construction experience in Tunnel Engineering and Construction
• Experience with alternative delivery projects (design build, CMGC, progressive design build)
• Travel requirements may exceed 50% depending on assignment and project requirements
• Experience in key project leadership roles
• Experience in client management on project pursuits and delivery
• Understanding of Scheduling, Estimating and Project Controls Software
• A valid driver license for the relevant vehicle types

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and management for all phases of alternative/collaborative delivery projects
• Involve in business development, teaming, pursuits & proposals, and contract and design management
• Coordinate with internal Michels teams and external partner and client teams to exceed client expectations
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, multitasking, and decision making
• Provide leadership and project management guidance on design-build pursuits and project delivery
