Job summary

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Fortitude Re) seeks a Senior Associate, Portfolio Management & ALM to monitor and report on asset portfolios, ensuring liability alignment and guiding tactical decisions to optimize returns.

You will collaborate with asset managers and internal teams to analyze performance, develop recommendations, and support onboarding of new investment mandates. A strong fixed‑income/ALM background and MS Office proficiency are required; Python or SQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• 3+ years in insurance asset management or fixed-income portfolio management.
• Experience with ALM principles and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Python or SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily management of existing asset portfolios with risk monitoring.
• Engage with asset managers on market opportunities and performance.
• Analyze drivers of portfolio performance and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate on investment recommendations based on market conditions.
• Evaluate prospective investments and compare with alternatives.
• Assist onboarding of new investment mandates.
• Coordinate with Actuarial, Risk, Capital, Finance, and Treasury teams.
• Build strong cross‑firm working relationships.
