Job summary

Accenture PLC in Chicago is seeking a skilled software engineer to design and implement production-grade AI systems, including agentic architectures and LLM integrations. You will work with LangChain, vector databases, and cloud services to deliver scalable solutions within enterprise programs.

The role emphasizes building with AI coding agents, collaborating with architects, and ensuring observability and quality across deployments. Travel may be required for client engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience on enterprise projects.
• 3+ years of hands-on software development with production deployments, testing, version control and CI/CD.
• 1 year of experience building with LLM APIs or AI/ML components in production.
• 1 year of experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Build agentic systems including multi-agent coordination, LLM integrations, and RAG pipelines.
• Engineer with AI coding agents and ensure reliable production code delivery.
• Contribute to solution architecture using microservices, event-driven designs, and API-led integration.
• Test AI quality, conduct evaluation, risk assessment, and AI observability.
• Deliver workstreams, plan tasks, and communicate progress to senior practitioners.
• Develop client-facing skills and document technical decisions.
