Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to define the strategic AI architectural guidance for secure and reliable AI workloads on AWS.

You will own the long-term technical direction, translate AI/ML patterns into prescriptive best practices, and influence AWS service design for AI workloads. You will engage with strategic customers and cross‑functional teams to validate guidance, publish thought leadership, and scale guidance at compute and data scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, security, data/analytics).
• 3+ years designing/building/advising ML/AI in production.
• Deep ML lifecycle understanding: data, training, eval, deployment, monitoring, governance.
• Ability to influence technical direction without direct authority.
• Strong written/verbal communication with authoritative content.
• Experience defining architectural standards at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long-term AI/ML architectural guidance vision.
• Lead Generative and Agentic AI thought leadership and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with AWS service teams to align on security-first AI architectures.
• Engage strategic customers to validate guidance and scale best practices.
• Drive automation tooling for scalable guidance publication and lifecycle management.
• Publish whitepapers, blogs, and reference architectures to establish AWS authority.
• Mentor senior architects and contribute to hiring and workforce planning.
• Ensure repeatable processes for architectural reviews and quality at scale.
• Validate recommendations through prototyping and code samples.
