Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with deep expertise in ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to own the strategic direction of AI architectural guidance for AWS workloads.

You will articulate long-term directions, translate AI patterns into prescriptive best practices, and influence product design to serve AI builders worldwide. You will mentor staff, publish thought leadership, and drive scalable guidance initiatives across AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 7+ years of technology domain experience (software, cloud, systems, security, data & analytics).
• 3+ years hands-on designing, building, or advising on ML/AI systems in production.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end ML lifecycle: data prep, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, governance.
• Ability to influence technical direction across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with published technical content for exec and technical audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional senior leadership to define architectural standards at scale.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term vision and roadmap for AI/ML architectural guidance aligned to Well‑Architected pillars.
• Lead thought leadership on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and related architectures.
• Influence AWS service roadmaps and validate architectural recommendations with stakeholders.
• Engage with enterprise customers to validate guidance and translate insights into scalable practices.
• Drive tooling and pipelines for automating creation and publication of guidance at scale.
• Publish whitepapers and present at AWS events to establish AWS authority in Well‑Architected AI.
