Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to define the long‑term architectural guidance for AI workloads.

You will lead with deep expertise in foundation models, RAG, and agentic AI, shaping secure, reliable, and Well‑Architected patterns across six pillars, and influence AWS service roadmaps. You will engage enterprise customers, publish whitepapers, mentor senior architects, and drive innovative tooling for automated guidance publication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 7+ years of technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years hands-on designing, building, or advising on ML/AI systems in production environments.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end ML lifecycle: data prep, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, governance.
• Ability to influence technical direction across organizational boundaries without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a track record of publishing authoritative technical content.
• Proven experience defining architectural standards at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term vision for AI/ML architectural guidance aligned to Well-Architected pillars.
• Lead Generative AI & Agentic AI thought leadership; guide architectures involving foundation models and RAG.
• Partner with AWS service teams to validate guidance and influence product direction based on security patterns.
• Engage executive enterprise customers to validate guidance via real-world implementations.
• Own strategy for automation tooling and content publication of guidance at scale.
