Stripe, Inc. in South San Francisco is looking for a strategic seller for the AI Startups team.

You will own contract renewals, lead commercial negotiations to grow revenue, and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You’ll design and execute sales cycle strategies, collaborate with product, sales, risk, and operations to meet client needs, and build a GTM playbook for AI monetization and usage-based billing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of client-facing sales experience.
• Ability to understand complex technical ecosystems and build relationships with technical customers.
• Ability to close upsell opportunities in long-term, consultative engagements.
• Analytical ability to manage pricing and cost considerations.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects.
• Strong stakeholder management with internal and external parties.
• Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations to increase revenue and market share among existing customers.
• Develop and implement sales cycle strategies to drive product adoption, new sales, and client retention at scale.
• Address complex client needs by collaborating with product, sales, risk, and operations teams to enhance our offerings.
• Build and refine the go-to-market playbook for AI monetization and usage-based billing (UBB).
• Engage with AI founders and industry influencers to position Stripe as the preferred infrastructure for monetizing AI.
• Represent Stripe in market-facing activities to elevate our presence in the AI and billing ecosystem.
