Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives and coordinate strategic programs across engineering teams.

You will drive on-time delivery, stakeholder alignment, and governance using Amazon mechanisms. Responsibilities include overseeing large-scale programs, mitigating risks, and turning innovative ideas into actionable plans while collaborating with leadership and engineering partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct experience with engineering teams.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management with software teams.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional releases and building processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives from start to finish, ensuring alignment with priorities and on-time delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships across the organization, acting as a bridge between technical teams and leadership to ensure clear communication.
• Improve business and tech processes to increase organizational efficiency.
• Participate in weekly leadership meetings to align priorities, coordinate business reviews (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs), and facilitate strategic planning using Amazon mechanisms (2-pagers, PR/FAQs, OP1/OP2 planning).
• Monitor large-scale technical programs, identify and resolve risks/blockers, and drive timely decisions to keep critical work moving forward.
• Transform innovative ideas into executable plans by conducting analysis, gathering requirements, and creating frameworks to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Address critical technical issues, assess impact, coordinate resolution across teams, and maintain stakeholder engagement throughout.
