Amazon in Seattle seeks a seasoned Technical Program Manager to coordinate AI/ML initiatives impacting employee experiences across benefits, compensation, recruiting, culture, and leadership practices.

You will work with senior leaders, researchers, data scientists, economists, and engineers to build scalable ML tools and data-driven insights from large datasets, driving cross-functional innovation with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional engineering, product, data science, and business teams to deliver scientific programs that enhance employee experiences, developing detailed plans, schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify dependencies and enable seamless collaboration between technical teams building AI/ML models, product managers defining requirements, data scientists and economists providing insights, and business stakeholders across Amazon's employee services.
• Lead communication and provide executive visibility into high-impact programs, continuously monitoring progress, highlighting roadblocks early, and developing contingency plans to ensure successful delivery.
• Accountable for developing and implementing overall strategy and driving teams inside and outside of the organization to deliver results.
• Mentor and develop junior Technical Program Managers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their career growth
