Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Deployment Strategists – Strategic Builders to act as customer-facing advisors, defining AI strategy and shaping agentic solutions for enterprise customers. Engagements are typically 12 weeks or less and may span a single strategic account or multiple customers.

The role partners with Forward Deployed Engineers to translate complex business challenges into live AI deployments that deliver measurable value across public sector clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or related field is required.
• 4+ years in strategic solutioning, advisory, or delivery leadership for enterprise SaaS.
• Experience delivering customer-facing projects in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit.
• Experience leading AI/LLM solution design and agentic AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagements across the value lifecycle.
• Define AI strategy and architecture; lead workshops and design sessions.
• Oversee delivery timelines, risk, and stakeholder communication.
• Own adoption, consumption, and expansion metrics within engagements.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers on strategy and execution.
• Develop real customer solutions using AI tools and platforms.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships and quantify business value.
• Assess AI readiness and guide change management.
