Job summary

BGTS International is seeking an AI & Data Solution Architect to shape next-generation AI solutions for global clients across the UK and EU.

You’ll bridge business and engineering at scale, focusing on architecture rather than hands-on development, and ensure secure, governable, reusable designs using Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft AI Foundry.

This is an architecture and stakeholder-facing role, guiding teams on security, scalability, and trade-offs to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Qualifications

• You are a strong Solution Architect, AI Architect, or Lead Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing how AI solutions are built.
• You bridge business and engineering, communicate architecture clearly, and guide teams toward secure, scalable, and reusable solutions.
• This is primarily an architecture and stakeholder-facing role — not a hands-on developer position.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI Solutions: Design scalable AI, data, and API-based solutions across Azure and Databricks.
• Shape AI Use Cases: Work on AI OCR, document processing, information extraction, and LLM-based solutions.
• Drive Architecture: Create solution concepts, architecture diagrams, and integration patterns.
• Enable Scale: Develop reusable architecture patterns and solutions that can be adopted across multiple countries.
• Guide & Influence: Advise business and engineering teams on technology, scalability, security, and trade-offs.
• Build Securely: Incorporate AI governance, security, identity, and access management into solution designs.
