Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Data and AI Architect to join the Data & AI Technology group within the Business Technology - Digital Engineering Solutions domain. You will shape strategic data and AI architectures and lead initiatives across multiple business units, leveraging Azure, Databricks, and advanced analytics to deliver actionable insights and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of related experience.
Experience designing scalable data and AI architectures.
Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with data governance, data integration, and security/operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and design the architecture for data and AI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Engage with business units to translate requirements into technical designs.
Create detailed architecture and technical design documents for data and AI solutions.
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and stakeholders.
Stay current with new technologies, best practices, and tools and assess their impact on CDM Smith.
Present to external audiences as needed and assist with marketing or BD descriptions.
