Job summary

This role is primarily inside-office with phone and email contact; travel may be required to meet agency partners. Strong communication, negotiation, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Highly developed marketing skills.
• Entrepreneurial and hands-on approach.
• Superior communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, pro-active, flexible, and able to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internal software.
• Valid state driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Write new profitable business with agents and ensure continuity.
• Market and underwrite small business and large accounts per criteria.
• Make underwriting decisions, follow pricing philosophies, and promote easy doing business.
• Monitor results and follow up on new business opportunities and compliance.
• Develop relationships with agent, underwriting, claim and corporate teams.
