Jet Parts Engineering, Inc. in Seattle seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, grow the supplier base, and ensure on-time, quality parts delivery. This role is hands-on and strategic, balancing cost, lead times, and supplier performance.

You will manage a team, qualify domestic and international manufacturers, and align procurement strategy with customer contracts and quality standards. Office-based position with ITAR compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in purchasing/procurement/supply chain with leadership.
• Experience sourcing manufacturers, supplier qualification & ongoing performance.
• Experience with machine shops and manufacturers; manufacturing/quality knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills with data, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• In-office position based in Seattle; remote work not available.
• Must be a US person for ITAR compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to align with company goals.
• Identify, qualify, onboard new domestic and international manufacturers.
• Develop and execute procurement strategy while maintaining quality per contracts.
• Build supplier relationships; negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times.
• Plan and buy parts and equipment; forecast needs and monitor stock levels.
• Monitor market trends; mitigate risk and respond to changes.
• Own the department budget and report material cost variances.
• Oversee purchase requisitions and orders; track performance metrics.
• Initiate process improvements within the department.
